SOLVED – “The Instagram Account is Currently Blocked, Please go to the Instagram App or Web Site to Resolve the Issue”
When you try to add your Instagram Account to your Meta Business Manager, you can see an error: “The Instagram account is currently blocked, please go to the Instagram app or website to resolve the issue.”
No matter how complex it may seem, there are actually very simple solutions. You can find two different solutions in this article.
Why Are You Getting a “The Instagram Account is Currently Blocked” Error?
You’ll get this issue if the Instagram account which you are trying to add to your Business Manager is probably already connected to another Business Manager Account.
To solve this issue, you should disconnect your Instagram Account from the Business Manager which is currently connected.
There are two ways to do this.
If you have access to the Business Manager account which is already connected to your Instagram account, you can use Solution 1.
If you don’t have access or you don’t know which Business Manager account is already connected to your Instagram Account, you can use Solution 2.
Solution 1
- Go to the Business Settings.
- Click to “Instagram accounts”, below the Accounts.
- Click “Remove” right top on the page.
- Remove Instagram account.
- Go to the other Business Manager account which you want to add to your Instagram account.
- Click to “Instagram accounts”, below the account.
- Click “Add”
- “Connect your instagram account” with ID and Password.
And that’s it. If you don’t have access or you don’t know which Business Manager account is already connected to your Instagram Account, you can use the next solution.
Solution 2
- Go to the Instagram Account on App or Web Site.
- Go to Account Settings.
- Change your account from Business Account to Personal Account.
After this change, the connection between your Instagram Account and Business Manager will be interrupted.
- Now you can add your Instagram Account to your new Business Manager Account.
